Welcome to Digital Photo Artists Site

The DPA Website is home to a small group of dedicated photoshop users. Our roots go back to the Suncoast Camera Club where eight original members decided to branch out from traditional photography to scanning slides and enhancing images with photoshop. That was the beginning of our group and we called ourselves Dimage. Our membership grew to over a hundred people. Eventually the membership grew so large that a small group of original founding members decided to split off and form another club called Digital Photo Artists. Many of our original members have advanced skills in computers, photoshop, photography and computer imaging programs.

Our club mission is to share advanced imaging techniques to produce artistic quality images. Members are encouraged to present project assignments during general meetings that demonstrate digital techniques.

The individual sections of this web site is a reflection on the talent and expertise of our members and we hope you enjoy visiting our web page.

The Photo Gallery page reflects the images created by our members.

The HiLites Recap page provides a recap of our monthly meetings.  Plus some photoshop tips and procedures from different homework assignments that challenge our members each month.

The Reviews page is based on members personal insight and use of various products.

The Tutorials page covers a variety of products that we used when creating images and slide shows.

The Links page contains some of our favorite websites.

The FAQ page covers basic questions about digital imaging.

Meeting  Dates are now the 4th Monday of every month.
